Yea....I find it humorous that Matt Guy makes fun of back yard players! He probably cannot beat most of them on a regulation board and the TRUE regulation bags. But wait......what is the TRUE regulation now? Hmmmmm....used to be 6 inch square CORN bags using duck cloth. THAT was their regulation rules. Then comes along the so called Pro who decides to change the bags. Ok....I see. He cannot stay on the board, so he makes a 2 sided bag to help HIMSELF stay on the board? I see he ALWAYS throws "sticky" side down. Cannot stay on the board otherwise? He also decides to make the bag bigger. WHY? Having trouble?

So the the rules change for one person? There are thousands of players out there. Why cater to just a few? I have no idea why they bothered to say regulation anymore because it changes too much.

This is a great game. I have been playing for years and yes.....I do play pro myself, but....I do get annoyed when the game keeps changing to suit one "guy" or just a few players. There are some great players out there who have great attitudes, but also some very sore losers who punch, kick, and curse when things do bot go their way. That is NOT good sportsmanship.

You might as well change the name from cornhole to the big bag throw. The corn is gone!

I miss the real true game of cornhole the way it used to be before all the egos and greed got involved.

I'm from Cincinnati too - the true home of Cornhole!! It's addictive and anyone can play. I've seen people play it everywhere, from hot air balloon rallies to amusement parks to company picnics to cruise ships. It's taking over...

accually here's the info
It is estimated about 1999 that the game really started catching on. It all started on the west side of town. The story goes; from there it has been working its way across the Midwest.
